Amden – High above Lake Walen

The small village of Amden can be reached from Zurich in a one hour train and bus ride. The village is spread out over a sunny terrace high above Lake Walen, a perfect place for hiking tours. On this tour you will enjoy a gorgeous view over the Swiss Alps, walk through a protected bog area, have the chance to indulge in local Swiss cuisine, and taste locally produced food in one of the alpine farms on along the way. Take a closer look at the alpine flowers and listen to the sound of the cowbells.
