Winter's delight
- Day Tour 8 - 10 hours
- Hiking time on well-prepared winter hiking trails 1 - 3.5 hours (Skill level: easy to intermediate, depending on level of snow also advanced. Appropriate shoes and hiking gear required!)
- Can be booked from mid December throughout mid March (depending on the wheather and snow conditions)
Swiss landscapes in Winter have a quite unique charm - be it the hilly surroundings of the Zurich area and the Appenzell or in the Alpes. A hike through a deeply snow covered forest is probably the most enchanting sight nature has to offer. From the top of the mountain you'll be able to see nothing but glittering snow - you'll be feeling great dignity. Entering the warm rooms of a mountain-top restaurant, warm up, drink a hot chocolate or a mulled wine - or even eat a delicious cheese fondue - what a deeply satisfying feeling! Maybe this delightful day ends with a fast-paced sleigh ride back down to the valley.
